MSAH Opens Lakeview Clinic!

Metairie Small Animal Hospital has expanded its services by opening a new Outpatient Clinic in the Lakeview Area.  Located at 734 Robert E. Lee Boulevard (corner of Vicksburg and Robert E. Lee), the clinic is in a great location and offers an array of services including convenient appointment hours, early morning drop-off service, grooming and retail sales.  And, should you need to board your pet at the main hospital you can drop them off at the Lakeview Clinic and your pets will be personally transported to the hospital for their stay. 

The clinic will be staffed primarily by Dr. Rene Baumer, one of the owners of Metairie Small Animal Hospital.  Dr. Rene has lived in the Lakeview community for years, returning to the area following Hurricane Katrina.  He has remained committed to rebuilding the Lakeview area and is very excited to be working one on one with clients and patients from his community.  In addition, Dr. Gina Cheuk will also be available to see exotic patients in the coming weeks. 

The Lakeview Clinic is being managed by Ms. Barbara Blakeman who has been part of the MSAH team since 2007.  Barbara worked primarily at our main hospital as a veterinary assistant and trainer but happily moved to the Lakeview Clinic when the opportunity arose.  Barbara also lives in the area and is very happy to be working with the people of Lakeview.
